Floor plan sketch to a 3D model in Blender
In the Plan Chat panel of the 3D viewport, pick a sketch or photo of a plan or describe a house and press Draw. The AI drafter draws a dimensioned plan and the add-on builds the 3D model in a new collection: walls with openings, lintels, sills and glass, a floor slab and furniture, with materials, ready for rendering.

Install
- Download the ZIP (do not unpack it).
- Drag it into Blender, or Edit → Preferences → Get Extensions → ⌄ → Install from Disk.
- Open the sidebar in the 3D viewport (N) and the Plan Chat tab.
- For automatic updates, add the repository https://cad.ai-architectures.com/blender/index.json under Preferences → Get Extensions → Repositories → + → Add Remote Repository.
Sign in
The first command opens your browser on the Plan Chat sign-in page. Sign in (email or Google), click “Continue”, and the app is signed in. One sign-in works for all Plan Chat plug-ins on the computer. No account yet? Create one in the studio.

What the drafter draws
A clean CAD floor plan, not a traced image: structural grid, walls with real thickness, doors with swings, windows, furniture and fixtures, dimension chains, room names and areas, a room schedule and a legend, on standard AIA layers. Every drawing stays in your account with all its versions, so you can change it by chat in the browser studio, see it in 3D, render it, and insert the new version again.

Questions
Does it need internet access?
Yes, the drawing is made by the Plan Chat drafter. Blender asks you to allow online access; the add-on does nothing online while it is off.
Does it work for my free first design?
Yes, the 3D model works for free designs too.
What does it cost?
The plug-in is free. Each drawing uses Plan Chat credits from your AI Architectures plan (a new drawing typically uses 700 to 1,800 credits); some new accounts get their first drawing free.
