AI Architectures in ChatGPT and Claude
Ask for house plans and floor plans right in the chat. Search about 500 free house plans with PDF, DXF, IFC and GLB downloads, look at CAD drawings our AI drafter has made, and, with your AI Architectures account connected, have the drafter draw a new layered, dimensioned CAD floor plan or change one of yours, then open it in the studio or download DXF, DWG and PDF. Photos and renders (remodel previews, sketch to render, virtual staging) open on ai-architectures.com.
Add it to Claude
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors (or Settings → Connectors) and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it AI Architectures and paste the server URL:

Search for AI Architectures in ChatGPT's apps directory once it is listed. Until then, with developer mode on (Settings → Apps → Advanced settings), choose Create app, paste https://mcp.ai-architectures.com/mcp and pick OAuth.

With your AI Architectures account (OAuth)

Account, credits and permissions
Connecting uses the same AI Architectures account as ai-architectures.com, floorplan.ai-architectures.com and this studio. The connector can start and change CAD drawings on that account, which uses its credits like the studio does (a new drawing usually 700 to 1,800 credits, a change 60 to 600), read your drawings, their previews and download links, and read your name, email address and credit balance. It cannot change your password, plan or payment details. Disconnect in ChatGPT or Claude at any time; signing out of all devices in your account settings ends every connection too.
Privacy
This section adds to our privacy policy.
- What we receive: only what the assistant sends to a tool: search words and filters, the description of a building, a sketch or plan image you attached for a drawing, a drawing id or a requested change. We never receive your chat history.
- Why: to search the plan library, to draw and change CAD drawings on your account and to show them back to you.
- Account data: when connected, the assistant holds an access token for your account. Tokens are encrypted, expire after two hours and are refreshed while your sign-in is valid; we do not keep a copy on the server.
- Storage and retention: drawings you start are saved in your account like drawings made in the studio, with their brief and any attached image, until you delete them or your account. Public tools store nothing.
- Statistics: we count tool use (which tool, which assistant, success or error, your account id when connected) in our own cookieless analytics, without the content of requests.
- Recipients: drawings are made by our drafting service with AI models from Anthropic (directly or through OpenRouter); payments and accounts are handled as described in the privacy policy. We do not sell data.
- Your controls: disconnect the app at any time, delete drawings in the studio, or delete your account in account settings. Questions: support@ai-architectures.com.
Limits
Plans and drawings are concepts for design, client and listing use, not permit or construction documents; have a licensed professional review them. Download links of your own drawings are valid for 10 minutes; ask again for fresh ones. A drawing takes 1 to 5 minutes.
